Pricing Policies
Pricing for all dinners starts with generating a “price per plate.” This is determined by the food cost of the menu, and includes the cost of shopping, transportation, and preparation of the food.
A typical plate includes 8 oz of protein and two sides, with appetizer and dessert plates priced out separately. Once we have a price per plate, we use the number of guests to determine an overall cost. The final quote for a dinner adds 10% to the overall cost, which goes to pay for incidental costs of cooking (trays for transportation, oils used in cooking, etc.)
For parties over 5 guests, there is a $50 fee added to the cost of the dinner to pay for the extra labor hours needed to prepare and serve the food. In the case of dinners which require additional servers to be hired, a $100 fee is added for each server (this money goes directly to the servers). Typically additional servers are needed for sit down parties over 9 guests, and 2 servers are needed for more than 12 guests.
We have plates, utensils, and linens available for use. The fee for plates and/or utensils is $30, and the fee for linens is $20.
